Cayman Islands Governor Helen Kilpatrick on Friday hosted the governors from Bermuda and the other Caribbean Overseas Territories for a conference to discuss regional matters and issues of common interest. The conference was attended by the governors of Anguilla, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, and Montserrat. Senior officials from the Overseas Territories Directorate in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office also attended. The annual governors’ conference is usually held in Miami; this is the first time that it has been hosted in a territory.
