Exclusive: Haiti PM-designate vows to build trust to resolve political crisis

The man poised to become Haiti's next prime minister has vowed to build trust between opposition groups and the government to resolve a political crisis over long-delayed elections.

President Michel Martelly nominated former Port-au-Prince mayor and veteran politician Evans Paul last month as prime minister to replace Laurent Lamothe, who quit after weeks of nationwide protests and pressure by opposition lawmakers.
