Colombia and Peru Sign cooperation Agreement within the Framework of the Inter-American Network for Labor Administration

The governments of Colombia and Peru signed this week an agreement to carry out a program of bilateral cooperation on conflict prevention and resolution and legal advice and defense, based on the guidelines established by the Inter-American Network for Labor Administration this week (RIAL) of the Organization of American States (OAS).

The agreement was part of the "Cooperation Agreement for the exchange of experiences and best practices in employment and labor relations," one of the eleven instruments of collaboration signed by the two countries through Presidents Juan Manuel Santos of Colombia, and Ollanta Humala of Peru, accompanied by their respective cabinets, during the First Binational Colombia-Peru Cabinet in the border city of Iquitos, Peru.
